We are looking for factory workers who will be flexible with the timing.
Factory workers usually work shifts. They are often expected to start early in the day, and some shifts can last up to ten hours at a time, depending on the industry. Some sectors may require late shifts or night work. In periods of high demand, factory workers may be asked to work overtime, with pay calculated based on the regulations of the Australian Government’s Manufacturing Award.
A factory worker’s duties and responsibilities typically include the following:
Operating machinery and tools at a production site
Monitoring and troubleshooting machinery
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Assembling products or components
Packing products or components for shipment or further processing
Operating forklifts and pallet jacks as required
Sorting and inspecting products for quality assurance purposes
Removing defective products and rejects
