We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, AC and Plumbing) Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and coordination of MEP systems for a civil construction project. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems are designed and implemented in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
oDevelop MEP designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design tools.
oPrepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
oEnsure designs meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
oEstimate material and labor costs for MEP installations.
oPrepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project schedules.
oIdentify and resolve technical issues during construction phases.
supervise the installation and commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems seamlessly.
conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design and supervision, preferably in civil construction.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
