We are a growing Precious Gem Stones Company based in Dubai seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Administrator to manage financial records, support daily administrative operations, and assist with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and smooth business operations in a regulated trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain company accounts, ledgers, and financial records
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with VAT filing and regulatory compliance
• Support AML compliance processes, including:
o Customer due diligence (KYC) documentation
o Transaction monitoring and record-keeping
o Assisting with internal compliance reports and audits
• Manage trade documentation, contracts, and shipping paperwork
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and logistics partners
• Support management with financial and administrative reports
• General Office administration work and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/admin role in the UAE
• Familiarity with UAE AML regulations and compliance frameworks (DNFBP experience is a strong advantage)
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience in precious stones/jewellery industry is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English
