We are a chill, funny European family in Dubai (4 adults + baby) looking for a reliable, detail focused Private Family Chef.
This is a long term role for someone who loves modern, clean cuisine, great plating, and organized meal prep.
Main responsibilities
Daily cooking for the family (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus prep for snack items as needed)
Weekly menu planning based on our preferences and schedule
Calorie counting and portion planning
Grocery planning and shopping, managing pantry and fridge, maintaining a clean system
Meal prep for busy days, storing and labeling properly
Baby food preparation, simple clean ingredients, proper texture by age, hygiene and storage standards
Keep the kitchen spotless, manage food safety, reduce waste, maintain high hygiene
Our cooking style and preferences
Modern European and international, clean flavors, balanced meals
High attention to detail, consistency, and nice plating
Not interested in Indian cuisine or Indian related cuisines
We like variety, but we also like systems, repeatable staples, and a predictable weekly flow
Tech and AI use
You must be comfortable using AI tools for:
Menu planning and recipe research
Creating grocery lists and prep schedules
Calorie and macro estimates
Keeping a simple weekly plan shared with the family
Working schedule
6 days per week
Approx. 10 to 12 hours per day depending on the day and family schedule
One weekly day off
Requirements
Must be live out (non negotiable)
Proven experience as a family chef, private chef, or strong professional kitchen background
Clean, organized, calm under pressure
Good English communication
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable around kids and baby food preparation
Nice to have
UAE driving license is a plus (not required)
Experience with meal prep systems and calorie tracking
Experience cooking modern healthy cuisine
Transport
If you do not have a car, you can use car lift or public transport.
