We’re hiring an Estimation Engineer to deliver accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid/proposal support for aluminum and steel construction projects. You’ll analyze drawings and project packages, build reliable estimates, and collaborate with operations and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, competitive proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Prepare complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimates for assigned scope deliverables.
2) Analyze preliminary research data to understand project impact; collaborate with operations and other estimators to capture General Conditions & Requirements correctly and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
3) Review design packages, project drawings, and deliverables to understand scope and start the estimation process.
4) Prepare full project cost estimates and deliver them to stakeholders and project managers.
5) Update estimates as project scope evolves; track and maintain estimate versions for analysis and change evaluation.
6) Provide technical support to project teams to improve estimate accuracy.
7) Propose cost-efficient alternatives to the planned scope.
8) Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types.
