We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Cashier cum Sales Associate for our retail store. The candidate will handle billing transactions, assist customers with product selection, and support daily store operations to ensure excellent customer service and increased sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Operate POS system and issue receipts
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy and perform daily reconciliation
- Promote products, offers, and loyalty programs
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Arrange and restock merchandise on shelves
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Assist in inventory checking and stock management
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints politely
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or cashier role preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Honest, reliable, and customer-oriented
