Operations Manager – Logistics (Amazon DSP)

About the Role
A leading last-mile delivery company operating as an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly accountable and analytical Operations Manager to lead daily site operations.
This role requires strong ownership of operational KPIs, structured reporting discipline, and the ability to drive performance improvement through detailed root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
The selected candidate will serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) with Amazon site management and represent the company in all operational discussions.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Performance & KPI Management
Own and drive all operational KPIs set internally and by Amazon
Monitor daily dispatch metrics (DCR, OTD, POD compliance, scan compliance, concessions, etc.)
Send structured daily operational reports to management
Prepare and present detailed bridge reports explaining performance gaps
Conduct comprehensive root cause analysis (RCA) for operational misses
Develop and execute structured corrective action plans (CAPs)
Track corrective actions until full KPI recovery
Fleet & Dispatch Management
Ensure full daily fleet allocation and vehicle readiness
Monitor fleet operational health, maintenance schedules, accidents, and compliance
Oversee fuel monitoring and cost control
Ensure on-time dispatch and return-to-station compliance
People & Attendance Management
Monitor daily driver attendance and punctuality
Maintain accurate records of traffic fines and operational infractions
Identify underperforming drivers and implement improvement plans
Support recruitment, onboarding, and driver training
Amazon Site Coordination
Act as primary POC with Amazon operations team
Attend daily stand-up meetings and performance reviews
Ensure full compliance with Amazon SOPs and audit requirements
Professionally manage escalations and site-level discussions
Requirements
3–5+ years experience in logistics or last-mile delivery
Experience working with Amazon preferred (DSP experience is a strong advantage)
Strong Excel and data analysis skills (mandatory)
Proven experience preparing performance reports and conducting RCA
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to perform under high operational pressure
Willing to work 6 days per week as required
