We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Sales Specialist to join our small supermarket team. Unlike a typical big-box store, our specialists are the face of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are perfectly curated, our customers feel welcomed, and our daily operations run with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Precision: Maintain meticulously organized shelves, ensuring all products are correctly priced, rotated (FIFO), and visually appealing.
Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service by helping customers find items and offering product recommendations.
Point of Sale: Handle cash and digital transactions accurately and efficiently.
Quality Control: Conduct regular checks for product freshness and packaging integrity.
Store Presentation: Maintain a clean and inviting shopping environment through consistent light cleaning and tidying.
What We’re Looking For
The "Eagle Eye": You notice the small things—a misplaced label, a low-stock item, or a smudge on the glass—and fix them without being asked.
Reliability: You understand that in a small team, showing up on time and ready to work is vital.
Communication: A friendly, approachable demeanor with both teammates and customers.
Experience: Previous experience in retail or grocery is preferred but not required for a candidate with the right attitude.
