Position Overview
We are looking for a Showroom Sales Executive to manage walk-in sales at our 200 Sqft retail showroom. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Electrical or HVAC products and spares, with the ability to handle both retail customers and bulk trade buyers efficiently.
This role requires strong product knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to close sales in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to walk-in customers (contractors, traders, retail buyers)
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable Electrical & HVAC products and spares
Handle both retail and bulk order inquiries
Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing within company guidelines
Coordinate with warehouse for stock availability and dispatch
Support export customers with product selection and documentation coordination
Maintain showroom display, cleanliness, and product organization
Track daily sales and maintain basic sales records
Build long-term relationships with repeat traders and contractors
Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to increase ticket size
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical or HVAC product sales
Strong knowledge of:
Electrical fittings and accessories
HVAC spare parts and components
Basic technical specifications
Experience dealing with traders, contractors, and wholesale buyers
Ability to handle both small retail transactions and bulk inquiries
Good communication skills (English required; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage)
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, billing/invoicing systems)
Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
Ability to work in a busy, trade-focused environment
Preferred Profile
Experience working in Deira/Old Dubai trading markets
Familiarity with export customers from MENA & African markets
Strong customer handling and relationship-building skills
