About the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative, proactive and execution-focused Content &
Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our digital presence.
This is not just a posting role.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end content process:
• Capturing content in the barber shop
• Filming clients and transformations
• Editing short-form and long-form content
• Publishing across multiple platforms
• Growing the brand presence consistently
You will work closely with the owner to build a strong, modern barber brand across
social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (On-Site)
• Film haircuts, transformations and client reactions
• Capture behind-the-scenes content
• Direct barbers and clients for engaging content
• Create daily short-form content opportunities
• Capture testimonials and trend-based videos
Editing & Production (Remote + On-Site)
• Edit Reels, TikToks, Shorts and Snapchat content
• Create long-form YouTube videos
• Add captions, subtitles, and engaging hooks
• Repurpose content across platforms
• Maintain brand consistency (visual style, tone, energy)
Publishing & Growth
• Post across:
• Instagram
• TikTok
• Snapchat
• YouTube
• Write engaging captions
• Optimise hashtags & trends
• Monitor analytics and adjust strategy• Stay ahead of barber industry trends
Strategy & Planning
• Create weekly content plans
• Identify viral opportunities
• Develop growth strategies
• Build the barber shop into a recognisable local brand
What We’re Looking For
• Strong filming skills (iPhone or camera)
• Excellent editing skills (CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere, etc.)
• Experience growing Instagram or TikTok accounts
• Confident directing people on camera
• Understanding of short-form video trends
• Self-starter with high standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Bonus:
• Experience in beauty / barber / fashion content
• Graphic design ability
• YouTube SEO knowledge
