Position: Key Account Executive – General /Modern Trade (GT)/(MT)
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / Sales Supervisor
Brief Role Summary
The Key Account Executive – GT/MT is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributors and key retail outlets, expanding market coverage, and ensuring effective execution of trade promotions within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve primary and secondary sales targets.
Manage assigned distributors and key retail accounts.
Expand numeric and weighted distribution.
Ensure product availability and visibility at retail outlets.
Execute trade schemes and promotional activities.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies.
Submit regular sales and market reports.
Key Requirements
Strong knowledge of FMCG General Trade operations.
Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and manage territory performance.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business or related field preferred.
2–4 years of FMCG sales experience in General/Modern Trade.
Valid driving license.
