We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician with strong knowledge in wheel balancing, wheel alignment, and tyre sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tyre-related services efficiently while providing excellent customer service and supporting sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform wheel alignment and wheel balancing using computerized alignment machines.
Remove, repair, and install tyres for various types of vehicles.
Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and safety issues.
Recommend suitable tyres and related services to customers.
Assist customers with tyre selection based on vehicle specifications and driving needs.
Achieve tyre sales targets and promote ongoing offers or promotions.
Ensure proper torqueing of wheels and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and cleanliness.
Prepare job cards and maintain service records.
Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
Proven experience in wheel alignment and wheel balancing.
Knowledge of tyre brands, sizes, and specifications.
Experience in tyre sales is an advantage.
Ability to operate alignment and balancing machines.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of vehicle suspension systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Technical certification or relevant training is preferred.
