The Waitress – Order & Cashier Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking and processing food and beverage orders, and handling all cashier-related transactions accurately. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Order Taking
Greet customers warmly, present the menu, and explain items or specials when needed.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate clearly with the kitchen team.
Ensure all orders are served correctly and on time.
Check on customers during service to ensure satisfaction and handle any requests promptly.

2. Cashier & Payment Management
Operate the POS system efficiently, processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately.

Balance the cashier box at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the manager.
Maintain accountability for the cash drawer, ensuring it is secure and organized.
Handle refunds, voids, or discounts as per company policy.
3. Coordination & Teamwork
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding customer requests, allergies, or special orders.
Support other team members during busy hours to ensure smooth and fast service.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and organizing service areas.

Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or food truck environment.

Basic math and cashiering skills; confident in handling cash and electronic payments.
Familiarity with POS systems and order entry.
