Office Manager / Sales & Operations Supervisor *(Micro Enterprise – FMCG / Fresh Food Distribution)* Company Overview We are a well-established small enterprise based in **Dubai (Garhoud)** and the **official distributor of Barakat**, a leading locally manufactured fresh food and beverage brand in the UAE. We distribute Barakat’s **fresh squeezed juices, flash-pasteurised juices, smoothies, HPP shots, iced teas, fresh fruits, cut fruits, salads, breakfast pots, and gourmet products** to: * Cafés and Restaurants * Event Management & Bar-tending Companies * Restaurant Management Companies * Corporate Offices & Multinational Companies (staff consumption, meetings & internal events) We have been operating successfully for **nearly two decades**, with a strong reputation for **reliability, customer service, ethical practices, and organised operations**. ## **Why This Role Is Important** The company is owner-managed and highly system-driven. Due to increasing operational scale, compliance requirements (VAT & Corporate Tax), and customer engagement needs, we are looking to **gradually delegate day-to-day supervision and business growth responsibilities** to a capable and motivated individual. This role is ideal for someone who wants **real responsibility, visibility, and long-term growth**, rather than a narrow corporate job description. --- ## **Position Summary** The **Office Manager / Sales & Operations Supervisor** will work closely with the Owner and gradually take responsibility for: * Daily office operations * Sales growth through customer engagement * Supervision of deliveries, drivers, and helpers * Basic compliance coordination (VAT, audits, documentation) * Customer relationship management This is a **hands-on role** in a small organisation where flexibility, ownership mindset, and people skills are critical. --- ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **1. Sales & Customer Relationship Management** * Regularly meet existing customers to strengthen relationships * Identify opportunities to increase order value and product range * Follow up on feedback, complaints, and service improvements * Coordinate with order processing staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness * Support onboarding of new customers when required ### **2. Office & Operations Management** * Supervise order processing and customer follow-up staff * Oversee daily delivery planning and execution across Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah * Coordinate with drivers and helpers to ensure discipline, punctuality, and route efficiency * Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and basic logistics discipline ### **3. Team Supervision** * Act as the first point of supervision for office staff and drivers * Ensure attendance, task completion, and adherence to company systems * Maintain a respectful, fair, and professional work environment * Escalate only key issues to the Owner ### **4. Compliance & Coordination** * Coordinate with external accountants/auditors on VAT & Corporate Tax matters * Ensure timely collection and organisation of documents and records * Track basic compliance deadlines and submissions * Support internal audits and statutory requirements *(Note: This role does not require deep accounting expertise but requires comfort with compliance coordination.)* ### **5. Process & System Adherence** * Follow and enforce existing systems, SOPs, and workflows * Suggest practical improvements where necessary * Maintain service quality and brand reputation ## **Candidate Profile (Essential)** * Experience in **sales, operations, administration, or supervision** in a small or medium enterprise * Comfortable wearing **multiple hats** in a hands-on environment * Strong **communication and people management skills** * Organised, dependable, and solution-oriented * Basic understanding of **VAT / compliance coordination** is an advantage * UAE experience is preferred * Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage with his own Car.
