Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our team at our Salon The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of cutting techniques and styles, with a strong understanding of modern grooming trends. The Barber will be responsible for providing haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other grooming services while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Haircutting: Provide a range of haircuts and styles based on client preferences, including fades, tapers, trims, and classic cuts.
Shaving and Beard Trimming: Perform hot towel shaves, beard trims, and mustache grooming with precision.
Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences, offering advice on styles, hair care, and maintenance.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment by sterilizing tools, cleaning workstations, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Customer Service: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest grooming products and trends, and recommend appropriate products to clients.
Time Management: Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimize client wait times while providing quality service.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of barber supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management as necessary.
Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Barber, with a portfolio of work demonstrating various styles and techniques.
Valid Barber license or certification from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of hair and beard grooming techniques, tools, and products.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
Attention to detail and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with modern grooming trends and styles.
Experience with a diverse client base.
Sales skills for promoting products and services.
